Blind WP7 game development

As I have already said in my previous post, I'm going to share my own experience about developing games for Windows Phone 7. Here is my first tip:
"Do you want to create games for Windows Phone? So, get the Windows Phone device!"

I know that it's kinda obvious, but I'm sure there are people who think that they have the emulator and it is sufficient. I'm sure because I used to think like that.

Enough silence! It's time to share

Some time ago, when I decided to develop my first game, I was concerned that nobody should know about my game ideas. I thought that I could share my thoughts afterwards. It goes without saying that I was wrong. The fact is that nobody wants to steal my ideas, neither do I.

At the same time I adore to read indies' stories which were written during their attempts to create something special! It's exciting to read about their achievements and failures, their thoughts, discovers, their advises. All these kinds of things inspire me. Why cannot I share my experience about these things either.

Moreover, it is a good opportunity to find someone who does the same things and can help you to avoid some underwater stones.

From this day on I'm going to share here my thoughts, advices, howtos, my current work progress - whatever!

Microsoft Advertising SDK

It goes without saying that everybody want to be rewarded for his job. As for me, I want to earn some money by showing advertisements in my game. I'm inspired to use this kind of monetization by this blogpost

Since I'm developing my game for WP7 on XNA I've decided to use Microsoft Advertising SDK for WP7.
